Jahanvi Patel
Jahanvi completed her formal training in design at the Sir J.J School of Art. She did her Masters’s in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia USA. She gained hands-on experience at a renowned, Mumbai-based design studio by working for clients such as Godrej Properties, Usha Sewing Machines, and Interglobe, before co-founding The Magic Beans in 2012.

The key evolutionary, Jahanvi has over a decade of experience in strategizing for creating clutter-breaking trends. She pushes the envelope, initiating transformation and user experiences through design.

Apart from all things design, she is passionate about live music, travel, and photography. In her spare time, she volunteers as a part-time art teacher at a low-income public school in Mumbai.

Darshan Jasani Haksar
Darshan completed her B.F.A degree in Applied Art from the prestigious Sir J.J School of Art, Mumbai followed by a Master of Science in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, New York. She worked with renowned firms such as Ogilvy and Mather, Mumbai, and The Gilmore Group in New York, and also worked independently before co-founding The Magic Beans.

With over 12 years of experience in design, both locally and internationally, Darshan understands the need to own and elevate a brand’s vision. Her keen assessment of a brand and its strengths enables alignment of thought and creativity for effectiveness.

A workaholic and perfectionist, when this “Mompreneur” is not obsessing over design and her toddler, she enjoys traveling and all things art.

Over the years they grew up and studied over seas and while two of them pursued creative careers, the third one found her calling in the field of marketing.  Armed with their individual degrees, diverse work experiences, and distinctive worldviews, it was one fine day that Jahanvi, Mona, and Darshan realized that they wanted more. They wanted to create the magic of their own.
